Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) (also referred to as myalgic encephalomyelitis), is a disease characterised by extreme fatigue, poor coordination, giddiness, depression and general malaise which can go on for months or years.

The cause of CFS has not been fully established, but the condition frequently occurs as a sequel to vial infections such as glandular fever, and it may be an extreme post-viral reaction.
